This policy explains what information HOA Safety collects through hoasafety.com and through the traffic camera programs we run for private communities, and how we use it.
Information from this website
When you call, email, or book a call with us, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, community, email address, and phone number. We use them only to respond to you and discuss our services.
Our web host may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and reliability. This site does not use advertising trackers.
Camera footage and violation records
- Footage and violation records are collected on private community roads under an agreement with the community.
- The community owns its data.
- Only our review team and the community's HOA board see the footage.
- We do not use facial recognition.
- We never sell data.
We use this information only to review possible violations, prepare notices the board approves, and let residents view the video and respond online.
Sharing
We share information only with the community we work for, service providers that help us operate (for example, mailing and hosting), or when required by law.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as agreed with the community.
